Introduction
Centuries before the birth of Christ, a small group of people settled in Italy, known as the Romans. They extablished a small city that would eventually become one of the largest empires the world has ever seen. In this empire, a series of myths and multiple gods would be created to explain the universe of the world. This is how Roman mythology came into existence. For centuries these myths and stories dominated thought all around the empire. When Christianity rose from the Holy land, it took over the stories of the Roman gods and goddesses.
